| Obverse description | Bare laureate head of Tiberius facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic portrait tradition of Alexandrian coinage. The emperor's features are depicted with characteristic realism, the laurel wreath clearly articulated around the crown of the head. The encircling Greek legend names the emperor along the periphery of the flan, with the regnal year expressed as L ΙΗ (year 18) in the field. |
