The divinity raises a labrys (double axe) over the left shoulder with the right arm, a distinctive iconographic attribute of this regional cult figure. The scene is enclosed within a beaded border, with the abbreviated consular legend inscribed in the exergue below. The composition reflects the strong local religious identity expressed through the autonomous civic coinage of Hierapolis. |
