Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Vespasian facing right, rendered in the Alexandrian provincial style with characteristic portraiture of the Flavian dynasty. The surrounding Greek legend reads ΑΥΤΟΚ ΚΑΙΣ ΣΕΒΑ ΟΥΕΣΠΑΣΙΑΝΟΥ, abbreviating his imperial titulature. The regnal year date L Β (Year 2) appears in the field, corresponding to 69-70 AD. The flan is irregular and slightly dumpy, typical of Alexandrian billon tetradrachm production of this period.

Reverse description Laureate and cuirassed bust of Titus, heir to the throne and son of Vespasian, facing right with detailed military dress visible at the shoulder. The bust is rendered in a youthful but authoritative Flavian portrait style consistent with Alexandrian mint production under the early Flavian emperors. The surrounding Greek legend identifies the figure as ΦΛΑΥΙ ΟΥΕΣΠΑΣΙΑΝΟΣ ΚΑΙΣ, designating him as Flavius Vespasianus Caesar. The reverse serves a dynastic propaganda function, publicly associating Titus with the imperial succession during the first regnal year of Vespasian's reign.
