Beschrijving voorzijde Laureate head of the emperor Domitian facing right, with finely rendered facial features typical of Flavian portraiture. The effigy is depicted with a wreath of laurel leaves encircling the head, consistent with the imperial iconography of the period. A circular Greek legend surrounds the portrait, reading ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙΣΑΡ ΔΟΜΙΤΙΑΝΟΣ ΣΕΒ ΓΕΡΜ, identifying the emperor by his titles as Autocrator, Caesar, Augustus, and Germanicus. The die work reflects the Alexandrian mint's distinctive provincial style, with bold relief and a somewhat broad, irregular flan.

Beschrijving keerzijde Draped bust of Nilus facing right, with a lotus flower visible on his shoulder, a typical Alexandrian iconographic attribute identifying the deity of the Nile River. Before the bust, in the lower field, stands a small figure of a Genius or Eros, rendered in low relief and characteristic of Alexandrian provincial coinage of the Flavian era. The regnal year is indicated in the field by the Greek letters L Η, denoting year 8 of Domitian's reign (88-89 AD). The overall composition reflects the distinctly Hellenistic artistic tradition maintained at the Alexandria mint under Roman imperial authority.
