Reverse description Eagle displayed facing, with wings fully spread, head turned to the right, holding a wreath in its beak. Between the eagle's legs appears a rectangular object or tabula of uncertain significance, possibly a votive tablet or military symbol. The reverse legend is distributed in the field around the eagle. The composition is typical of the eagle reverses associated with the civic coinage of Mesopotamian provincial mints under the Severan dynasty. The die work reflects the bold, somewhat provincial engraving style characteristic of Rhesaena issues.
