The bird is depicted with strong musculature and detailed feathering across the spread wings. The regnal date legend L ΔΕΚΑΤΟΥ, denoting the tenth year of Hadrian's reign, appears to the right in the field. A circular perforation is present in the upper left field, corresponding to the hole visible on the obverse. The reverse field is otherwise plain. |
