| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, the emperor portrayed with youthful features and short beard, drapery visible on the left shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the characteristic provincial style of Mesopotamian coinage, with bold, slightly crude engraving.
