Obverse description Laureate bust of Vespasian facing left, with strong portraiture characteristic of Flavian imperial coinage. The emperor is depicted with a wreath of laurel leaves tied at the back, rendered in a naturalistic Hellenistic style. The surrounding Greek legend reads ΑΥΤΟΚΡΑΤΩΡ ΟΥΕϹΠΑϹΙΑΝΟϹ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ, encircling the effigy along the coin's border.
