Obverse description Laureate bust of Tiberius facing left, depicted with draped shoulders in the Hellenistic royal portrait tradition. The circumferential Greek legend reads ΤΙΒΕΡΙΟΣ ΚΑΙΣΑΡ ΣΕΒΑΣΤΟΣ, identifying the emperor as Caesar Augustus. The regnal year date L ΚΑ (year 21, corresponding to 34-35 AD) appears in the lower field, a characteristic feature of Alexandrian coinage serving as a dating mechanism.
