Reverse description Sarapis enthroned facing left, wearing the modius (kalathos) crown and himation, his extended right hand raised over Cerberus seated at his feet to the left, while his left hand holds a long sceptre. The composition is typical of Alexandrian tetradrachm reverses of the Severan period, with the deity rendered in a majestic, hieratic posture. The field legend L ΤΕΤΑΡΤΟΥ indicates the regnal year four of Severus Alexander.
