Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Nero facing right, rendered in the Alexandrian provincial style with characteristic fleshy features. The effigy displays a radiate wreath of laurel leaves atop the emperor's head, with the neck and shoulder area showing drapery folds. The Greek legend arcs around the periphery of the flan, reading ΝΕΡΩΝ ΚΛΑΥ ΚΑΙΣ ΣΕΒΑ ΓΕΡ ΑΥΤΟ, abbreviating his full imperial titulature in the Hellenised form.

Reverse description Standing figure of Eirene (the personification of Peace) depicted facing left or three-quarter right, robed in a long chiton and himation, holding a caduceus in one hand and a helmet in the other, emblematic of peace achieved through military victory. The composition reflects the Alexandrian mint's characteristic blending of Greek iconographic tradition with imperial Roman propaganda. The regnal date L Ϛ (year 6 of Nero's reign, corresponding to 59-60 AD) appears in the field alongside the goddess's name ΙΡΗΝΗ.
