| Opis rewersu | Eagle displayed, facing, with wings fully spread and head turned to the right, holding a wreath in its beak — a common type associated with the imperial cult in eastern provincial coinage. Between the eagle's legs appears a crescent symbol, an iconographic reference to the lunar deity Sin worshipped at Carrhae. A star is placed in the upper left field, and three pellets occupy the exergue. The reverse legend ΔΗΜΑΡΧ ΕΞ ΥΠΑΤΟϹ, referencing Macrinus's tribunician power and consulship, is distributed in the field around the eagle, all within a beaded border. |
