| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Macrinus facing right, depicted from the rear in three-quarter view, with a full beard rendered in fine detail. The emperor's paludamentum is clearly delineated across the left shoulder, and the cuirass is visible beneath the drapery folds. A Greek imperial legend surrounds the effigy along the border of the flan, partially visible on the irregular planchet. The portrait exhibits the characteristic provincial style of the Edessan mint, with robust and expressive modelling of the facial features. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Eagle displayed facing, with wings fully spread, head turned to the right, holding a wreath in its beak. Between the eagle's legs, a small tetrastyle shrine or naiskos with a pediment is depicted in relief, a hallmark of Edessan civic coinage. The reverse legend is arranged in the field around the eagle. The composition is typical of Eastern provincial coinage of the Severan period, combining Roman imperial imagery with local religious or civic symbolism. |
