The imperial effigy is portrayed in the characteristic Alexandrian provincial style of the early second century AD. The surrounding Greek legend reads ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ - ΤΡΑΙ ΑΔΡΙΑ ϹΕΒ, identifying the emperor as Autocrator Caesar Trajanus Hadrianus Sebastos. |
