Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from behind, showing the rear of the cuirass with visible paludamentum folds. The imperial effigy is portrayed in the characteristic Alexandrian provincial style of the early second century AD. The surrounding Greek legend reads ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ - ΤΡΑΙ ΑΔΡΙΑ ϹΕΒ, identifying the emperor as Autocrator Caesar Trajanus Hadrianus Sebastos.
