Reverse description Draped bust of Hermanubis facing right, the syncretic deity combining Hermes and Anubis, surmounted by a kalathos (basket crown) atop his head. A palm branch is depicted before the bust in the left field, a common symbol of victory and divine favour in Alexandrian coinage. The reverse field is relatively plain, with the regnal date legend L ΚΑ (Year 21) inscribed, corresponding to the 21st regnal year of Antoninus Pius. The composition reflects the distinctly Egyptian religious iconography characteristic of the Alexandrian imperial mint.
