Reverse description Sarapis standing facing left in the field, wearing the modius (kalathos) crown atop his head, his right arm raised in a gesture of benediction, and his left hand holding a tall sceptre. The god is rendered in draped robes in the characteristic Alexandrian style. The regnal year date is indicated by the Egyptian date symbols L (year) and Γ (three), placed to the left and right of the figure respectively, within a beaded border.
