| Obverse description | Laureate head of Emperor Trajan facing right, rendered in the Alexandrian provincial style with characteristic short hair visible beneath the wreath. The imperial effigy is enclosed within a beaded border. The Greek legend surrounding the portrait identifies the emperor with his titles, abbreviated in the customary Alexandrian manner. The die work shows confident, firm engraving typical of the Alexandrian mint under Trajan. |

| Reverse description | Draped bust of Sarapis facing right, the syncretic Greco-Egyptian deity depicted wearing his distinctive stepped kalathos (modius) atop his head and a taenia (fillet) in his hair, with drapery visible at the shoulder. The bust is rendered with considerable detail, reflecting the importance of the Sarapis cult in Ptolemaic and Roman Alexandria. A beaded border frames the design. |
