背面描述	The Emperor is depicted on horseback, advancing to the left, clad in military attire. He holds a transverse sceptre surmounted by an eagle in his right hand and raises his left hand in a gesture of salutation or address. A palm branch appears in the field before the horse, symbolising victory. The regnal year date legend L ΙΔ (Year 14) is inscribed in the field, conforming to the standard Alexandrian dating convention for tetradrachms of this reign.

附加信息	By regnal year 14 — the last full year before Severus Alexander was murdered by his own troops near Mainz in March 235 — the Alexandrian mint was producing tetradrachms in increasingly debased billon, a trend that would accelerate catastrophically under his successors. The assassination ended the Severan dynasty entirely and pitched the empire into the Crisis of the Third Century. Coins from this final regnal year are not rare in absolute terms, but survivors in decent fabric are scarcer than the reference numbers suggest.
