With her right hand she raises the hem of her garment at the hip in the characteristic gesture of the Elpis type, while her left hand holds an open flower (lotus or poppy). A tall palm branch is placed in the left field before the figure. The regnal date L ΙΑ (Year 11) appears in the right field, dating the issue to the eleventh year of Severus Alexander's reign according to the Alexandrian calendar. |
