| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Lucius Verus facing right, seen from the front, wearing paludamentum over cuirass. The emperor's effigy is rendered in the Antonine provincial style characteristic of the Alexandrian mint. The obverse legend reads Λ ΑΥΡΗΛΙΟϹ ΟΥΗΡΟϹ ϹΕΒ, identifying the emperor in Greek around the bust. |
