The date regnal formula L Β (Year 2) appears in the right field, corresponding to the second year of Hadrian's reign (117–118 AD). The figure is rendered in a hieratic provincial style characteristic of Alexandrian tetradrachm coinage. The reverse field is moderately worn but the attributes of Tyche remain clearly identifiable.
