Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of the emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from the rear, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The imperial effigy exhibits the characteristic Hadrianic beard and laureate wreath. The Greek legend is distributed around the field, with ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ to the left and ΤΡΑΙ ΑΔΡΙΑ ϹΕΒ to the right. The flan shows the typical irregular fabric of Alexandrian billon tetradrachms of this period.
