Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, seen from the centre or rear, with the paludamentum visible over the shoulder. The emperor's effigy is rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style, with the laurel wreath clearly defined atop the head. The encircling Greek legend names the emperor in the nominative case. The flan is irregular, as characteristic of Alexandrian billon tetradrachms of this period.

Reverse description Athena standing facing, head turned to left, clad in chiton and peplos with aegis, holding an owl in her extended right hand and resting her left arm upon a grounded shield at her side. The goddess is depicted in a formal, frontal stance typical of Alexandrian provincial coinage. The date formula L ΔΕΚΑΤΟΥ (regnal year 10) appears in the field to left and right of the figure. The reverse type and date confirm the coin's issue to the tenth year of Antoninus Pius's reign, corresponding to 146–147 AD.
