The composition emphasises her divine status following her deification in AD 141, a theme prominently celebrated on Alexandrian coinage of regnal year 5 (L Ε). The reverse legend ΦΑΥϹΤΙΝΑ ΘΕΑ L Ε is distributed across the field, with the regnal year date L Ε denoting the fifth year of Antoninus Pius's reign. |
