| Obverse description | Bare-headed and laureate bust of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing left, with naturalistically rendered hair and a short beard, the effigy displaying the characteristic portraiture of the Antonine period. The neck is slightly draped, and the facial features reflect the mature, idealized imperial likeness standard to Alexandrian coinage of this reign. The Greek imperial titulature legend encircles the bust, reading from the lower left around the periphery of the flan. |

| Reverse description | The goddess Tyche depicted standing facing left in a long, finely pleated chiton and himation, wearing a kalathos (basket crown) upon her head as an attribute of civic fortune and abundance. In her extended right hand she holds a long rudder, symbolizing the guidance of fate and the city's prosperity, while her left arm cradles a large cornucopia overflowing with fruit and foliage. The regnal date legend L Δ (year 4, corresponding to 140–141 AD) appears to the left of the figure in the open field. |
