Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the Alexandrian provincial style with bold, high-relief portraiture. The emperor's head displays a finely detailed laurel wreath, with short curled hair and a bare neck partially showing drapery at the truncation. The surrounding Greek imperial legend runs clockwise around the periphery of the flan.

Reverse description Draped bust of Sarapis facing right, the god depicted with his characteristic full, curled beard and thick wavy hair surmounted by the tall kalathos (modius), a basket-shaped crown adorned with a row of beads, symbolising fertility and abundance. The drapery is visible at the bust truncation. The date legend in Greek, reading ΕΤΟΥϹ Β (Year 2), is distributed in the field to the left and right of the figure.
