Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Balbinus facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from the front, with paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The imperial effigy displays carefully engraved hair and laurel wreath, with the cuirass decorated with pteryges at the shoulder. The encircling Greek legend reads Α Κ ΔΕΚ ΚΑΙΛ ΒΑΛΒΙΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ, identifying the emperor by his full titulature, distributed around the beaded border.
