正面描述	Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of the Emperor Philip I (Philip the Arab) facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from the rear, with finely engraved hair and paludamentum over the cuirass. The imperial effigy occupies the central field, conveying the military authority of the emperor. The surrounding Greek legend reads Α Κ Μ ΙΟΥ ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟϹ ΕΥϹ(Ε)(Β), abbreviated for Autokrator Kaisar Marcus Iulius Philippos Eusebes, distributed along the periphery of the flan.

背面描述	Conjoined busts of Nilus and Euthenia facing right, with Nilus crowned with a taenia adorned with lotus buds and drapery visible on the left shoulder, the personification of Euthenia (Abundance) depicted behind him. A cornucopia appears before the busts in the left field, symbolising the fertility of the Nile and the prosperity of Egypt. The date regnal legend L Δ (Year 4) appears in the field, corresponding to the fourth regnal year of Philip I as reckoned in the Alexandrian calendar.
