| Reverse description | Nike, the winged goddess of victory, strides briskly to the right in flowing drapery, her large outstretched wings prominently displayed. She extends a wreath forward in her right hand and carries a long palm frond over her left shoulder, emblems of military triumph. The regnal date LB (Year 2, corresponding to 244–245 AD) appears in the field, a hallmark of the Alexandrian dating system. The type is struck within a beaded border consistent with billon tetradrachm coinage of the Alexandrian mint under Philip I. |
