Obverse description Laureate, cuirassed and paludamentum-draped bust of Lucius Verus facing right, seen from the rear, with the folds of the cloak visible over the left shoulder. The emperor's portrait is rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style characteristic of early joint reign tetradrachms. The obverse legend encircles the bust in Greek characters.
