背面描述	Zeus enthroned to the left, his muscular torso nude and lower body draped, extending a patera in his right hand and holding a long sceptre upright in his left. An eagle stands attendant to the left of the throne, facing right. The regnal date L Δ (Year 4) appears in the field, corresponding to the fourth year of Gordian III's reign in the Alexandrian calendar. The composition follows the canonical Alexandrian reverse type for this period, with a beaded border encircling the design.

Köln 2650 and Milne 3586 align on this type without significant die discrepancy, suggesting a reasonably stable production run for Year 4.
