Beschrijving voorzijde Draped bust of Julia Domna facing right, her elaborately waved and layered hair dressed in the characteristic Severan style with horizontal ridged bands arranged in a wide coiffure. The empress is depicted with fine facial features and wearing a draped garment visible at the truncation. The Greek legend encircles the bust, identifying her as Julia Domna Augusta, Mother of the Armies.

Beschrijving keerzijde A female figure, identified as Securitas or possibly Aphrodite, seated three-quarters to the right on a throne or chair. She holds what appears to be a mirror in her raised left hand while her right hand is lifted toward her head as if arranging her hair.
