| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, wearing the paludamentum over the shoulder. The emperor's effigy is rendered in the characteristic Alexandrian provincial style, with finely detailed laurel wreath and drapery folds visible at the truncation. The surrounding Greek legend reads ΑΝΤΩΝΙΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ ΕΥϹΕΒ, identifying the emperor with his titles Sebastos (Augustus) and Eusebes (Pius), distributed around the periphery of the flan. |
