Reverse description The goddess Roma personified is depicted seated to the left upon a throne or cuirass, rendered in the Hellenistic-Roman provincial style characteristic of the Alexandrian mint. She extends her right hand forward holding a small Nike figure, while her left hand rests on a long vertical spear or sceptre. The regnal year legend L ΙΔ (year 14, corresponding to 150-151 AD) appears in the field, serving as the principal dating element on this Alexandrian tetradrachm type.
