Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, with curly hair and beard rendered in the Antonine style. The portrait is executed in high relief with naturalistic modeling characteristic of Alexandrian provincial coinage. The circular legend reads ΑΝΤωΝ(Ε)ΙΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ ΕΥϹΕΒ, identifying the emperor with his Augustan and Pius epithets, disposed around the effigy within a linear border.
