The emperor's effigy is rendered in the typical Alexandrian provincial style, with the cuirass and military cloak conveying imperial authority. The encircling Greek legend reads ΑΝΤωΝΙΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ ΕΥϹΕΒ, identifying the emperor with his honorific title Eusebés (Pious).
