Obverse description Draped bust of Faustina II facing right, hair elaborately coiffed and drawn back. The legend ΦΑΥϹΤΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ ('Faustina Augusta') encircles the effigy. The portrait reflects the provincial Alexandrian style of the mid-2nd century AD, characteristic of billon tetradrachm coinage issued under Antoninus Pius.
