| Reverse description | Eagle standing to the right with head turned to the left, holding a wreath in its beak. The bird is rendered with detailed feathering across the wings and body, displayed in the characteristic Alexandrian style. The regnal date L ΙΔ (year 14 of Antoninus Pius, 150-151 AD) appears in the field, flanking the eagle. The reverse type of the eagle was a common motif on Alexandrian tetradrachms and billon issues of the imperial period. |
