Year 10 of Antoninus Pius's reign, this Alexandrian billon tetradrachm falls within the most administratively stable decade Egypt experienced under Roman rule — a period so unremarkable for crisis that the Alexandria mint's output during these years is documented almost entirely through die studies rather than historical incident. The Emmett and Dattari references converge on a well-attested type, but individual specimens vary noticeably in silver content as the billon alloy was managed inconsistently at the local level, not by imperial decree.
