| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate bust of Antoninus Pius facing left, with traces of drapery on the left shoulder, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of the Alexandrian mint. The emperor's portrait displays a full beard and naturalistic facial features typical of his mature coinage. The surrounding legend in Greek reads ΑΝΤωΝΙΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ ΕΥϹΕΒ, identifying the emperor with his title Sebastos (Augustus) and the epithet Eusebes (Pius). The flan is irregular in shape, as is common for billon tetradrachms of Roman Egypt. |

In her right hand she holds a ship's rudder, symbolizing Alexandria's maritime prominence, while her left arm cradles a cornucopia (horn of plenty), emblematic of abundance and prosperity. The date regnal formula L ΙϚ (Year 16, corresponding to 152–153 AD) appears in the field. |
