Obverse description Draped bust of Faustina II facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and drawn up at the back in the fashionable style of the Antonine period. The effigy is rendered in high relief with finely detailed drapery at the shoulder. The circumferential Greek legend ΦΑΥϹΤΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ (Faustina Augusta) surrounds the portrait, distributed across the field.
