Reverse description Standing figure in the field, identified tentatively as Tyche of Alexandria, facing front with head turned to the right, wearing a turreted crown; she holds a rudder in one hand and a small figurine of Hermes (?) in the other, the figure of Hermes bearing a purse and caduceus as attributes. The date formula L ΙΕ appears in the field, corresponding to regnal year 15 of Antoninus Pius (151-152 AD). The composition reflects the syncretic religious iconography characteristic of Alexandrian provincial coinage.
