| Obverse description | Draped bust of Empress Salonina facing right, her hair elaborately waved and arranged in horizontal ridges, bound with a diadem. The effigy is rendered in the Alexandrian provincial style, with visible drapery at the shoulder. The Greek legend ΚΟΡΝΗΛΙΑ ϹΑΛωΝΕΙΝΑ ϹΕΒ (Cornelia Salonina Augusta) runs around the periphery within a beaded border. |

| Reverse description | Laureate head of Zeus facing right, with a full flowing beard and wavy hair, a chlamys or drapery visible on the left shoulder, rendered in the Alexandrian Hellenistic tradition. To the right of the field appears the regnal year date L Ϛ (year 6, corresponding to 258-259 AD), within a beaded border. The design reflects the continued use of traditional Greek divine imagery in the Alexandrian tetradrachm series. |
