Reverse description Laureate head of Zeus facing right, with a full flowing beard and wavy hair, a chlamys or drapery visible on the left shoulder, rendered in the Alexandrian Hellenistic tradition. To the right of the field appears the regnal year date L Ϛ (year 6, corresponding to 258-259 AD), within a beaded border. The design reflects the continued use of traditional Greek divine imagery in the Alexandrian tetradrachm series.
