| Obverse description | Laureate head of Titus facing left, rendered in bold relief with characteristic Flavian portraiture. The emperor's effigy displays a laurel wreath upon the head, with finely engraved facial features. The surrounding circular legend reads ΑΥΤΟΚΡΑΤΩΡ ΤΙΤΟϹ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ in Greek characters, distributed around the field. The die work is consistent with provincial Cypriot coinage of the Flavian period, struck on an irregular flan typical of hammered issues. |
