| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Nerva facing right, depicted with aged features in the Roman imperial tradition. The portrait shows the emperor draped, with a wreath of laurel rendered in fine relief. The surrounding legend reads ΑΥΤΟΚΡΑΤ ΝΕΡΟΥΑϹ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ ϹΕΒΑϹΤ in Greek characters, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The monogram Λ-Υ, abbreviating Lycia, appears in the left and right fields flanking the portrait, identifying the issuing Koinon. |
