| Beschrijving keerzijde | A standing female figure, identified as Homonoia or Providentia, depicted facing with head turned to the left, clad in long robes rendered in the summary style of Mesopotamian provincial coinage. She extends her right hand to hold a globe and carries a cornucopia in her left arm, symbols of concordance and abundance. The Greek votive legend ΥΠΕΡ ΝΙΚΗϹ ΤΩΝ ΚΥΡΙΩΝ ϹΕΒ, meaning 'for the victory of the Lords Augusti', is disposed in the right field and around the figure. The reverse type reflects the dynastic propaganda associated with the joint reign of Marcus Aurelius and Lucius Verus during the Parthian War period. |
