Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, viewed from the rear, rendered in the provincial Greek style characteristic of Pontic civic coinage. The effigy displays finely engraved laurel wreath and drapery over the left shoulder. The circumferential legend in Greek script reads ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ ΤΡΑ ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ Π Π ΥΠ Γ, running around the outer field. The portrait is modelled with considerable naturalism, consistent with Hadrianic-era civic portraiture from the eastern provinces.
