Reverse description An eagle stands facing right, head turned slightly, holding a laurel wreath in its beak — a motif emblematic of Alexandrian tetradrachm reverses of the Tetrarchic period. A tall palm branch rises behind the eagle in the left field, symbolising victory and imperial triumph. A six-pointed star appears to the upper left of the eagle in the field. The regnal date L Ε (Year 5) is inscribed to the right, within a dotted border typical of the Alexandrian mint's hammered billon coinage.
